MAPLEVILLES CABINETRY
LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
EFFECTIVE DATE: 2/5/2026

1. Purpose and Scope
This Limited Warranty Policy establishes the terms, conditions, and limitations governing warranty coverage for cabinetry products manufactured and sold by Maplevilles Cabinetry. This policy applies to all purchases made directly from Maplevilles Cabinetry within the State of California.
Maplevilles Cabinetry provides a Limited One (1) Year Warranty beginning on the date of the original Maplevilles invoice. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of record on the invoice and is non-transferable.Coverage is strictly limited to verifiable manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship existing at the time of delivery. This warranty does not cover design choices, color variation, wood grain variation, finish variation, or normal characteristics inherent to wood and manufactured materials.

2. Mandatory Inspection Requirement
Upon receipt of product, the purchaser must inspect all cabinetry within five (5) business days. Any visible damage, defects, or discrepancies must be reported in writing to Maplevilles Cabinetry within this timeframe.Warranty claims related to visible damage or cosmetic defects must be reported prior to installation. Once installation has begun, Maplevilles Cabinetry is not responsible for labor, removal, reinstallation, jobsite damage, or defects that could reasonably have been discovered upon inspection.

3. Risk of Loss and Freight Responsibility
Upon delivery to the purchaser or the purchaser’s designated location, all risk of loss, damage, or deterioration transfers to the purchaser. Maplevilles Cabinetry is not responsible for damage related to freight, handling, storage, or transportation occurring after initial delivery.

4. Exclusions from Warranty Coverage
This warranty expressly excludes, without limitation:

– Improper installation
– Jobsite or construction-related damage
– Damage from transportation, handling, or storage after delivery
– Exposure to excessive moisture, heat, sunlight, steam, or extreme environmental conditions
– Field modifications, alterations, cutting, resizing, or refinishing
– Misuse, neglect, accidents, or lack of maintenance
– Normal wear and tear, aging, or cosmetic changes over time
– Damage caused by third-party products including appliances, countertops, plumbing, lighting, or hardware not supplied by Maplevilles
– Damage from water leaks, humidity, or harsh cleaning chemicals
– Issues resulting from improper leveling, alignment, or fastening
– Any labor, removal, or reinstallation costs

5. Custom and Special-Order Products
Custom and special-order doors, finishes, and non-standard products are warranted solely for verifiable manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship existing at the time of delivery.
This warranty does not cover:

– Color, sheen, texture, or finish expectations
– Grain variation, character marks, or natural wood movement
– Minor aesthetic differences from samples, renderings, or displays
– Fit issues resulting from field measurements or site conditions
– Changes requested after order approval
– Jobsite damage, handling, or storage conditions

Custom and special-order items are accepted as approved by the purchaser at time of order. Approval includes acknowledgment of design, color range, finish, and specifications.
If a valid manufacturing defect is confirmed, Maplevilles’ sole obligation is replacement of the defective component only. No refunds, credits, or labor costs will be provided.

6. Sole and Exclusive Remedy
If Maplevilles Cabinetry confirms a valid manufacturing defect, the sole and exclusive remedy shall be replacement of the defective component only (door, drawer front, or cabinet part).
Maplevilles Cabinetry will not provide refunds or credits. Maplevilles Cabinetry will not be responsible for:

– Labor costs
– Removal or reinstallation
– Project delays
– Loss of use
– Additional freight beyond original delivery
– Consequential, incidental, or indirect damages

7. Warranty Claims and RMA Process
All warranty claims must include:

– Clear photographs of the issue
– Original Maplevilles invoice number
– Written description of the defect
– Confirmation that the product has not been installed, or evidence that the defect existed prior to installation

No replacement will be issued without an approved Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

8. Right to Inspect and Determine Coverage
Maplevilles Cabinetry reserves the right to:

– Request additional documentation
– Require return of the product
– Conduct an inspection

All warranty coverage determinations are made at Maplevilles Cabinetry’s sole discretion.

9. No Authority to Modify Warranty
No dealer, retailer, installer, subcontractor, sales representative, or employee is authorized to modify, extend, or waive any terms of this warranty on behalf of Maplevilles Cabinetry.

10. Non-Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser listed on the Maplevilles Cabinetry invoice.

11. Governing Law
This warranty shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate venue within California.

 

       

Transportation Damage Disclaimer:

Once the merchandise leaves our facility, all risk of loss or damage passes to the purchaser or the designated carrier. The customer is responsible for inspecting all items immediately upon delivery. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt (BOL) at the time of delivery and documented with photographs before the driver departs.

Failure to document damage at the time of delivery may result in denial of any claim. Claims for concealed damage must be reported to our company and the carrier in writing within 48 hours of delivery and accompanied by photographic evidence of the damage and packaging.

We are not responsible for damage caused during transit, improper handling, storage, or installation after delivery. Replacement or repair for transportation-related damage is subject to carrier approval and may incur additional costs, including restocking, reshipping, or replacement fees.

By accepting delivery, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
